RSVP FOR WEEK 3 OF OUR PICKET LINES: IN-PERSON OR DIGITALLY

We have reached the end of our second week of striking! It has been inspiring and encouraging to see the strength we have as a union, and we know that the administration is turning to threats to dock our pay because they’re confronted with our power. With that in mind, we are writing to you with information about the hardship fund and how to apply for support.

As striking workers, most of us are eligible for weekly $275 payments from UAW—if you have not signed up for those payments already, do so here! These funds will be disbursed between March 31 and April 2.

In addition to that strike benefit, we have hardship funds to draw from. Columbia/Barnard YDSA has organized a gofundme for us which has already, raised over $145,000 from over two thousand donors and continues to grow! In addition, we have access to funds donated directly to UAW from allied organizations and individuals in support of our strike.

Please complete the application for the hardship fund by April 2 (the first round).
