Wear Your Union Shirt on Tuesdays!

To continue protesting Columbia University’s flagrantly undemocratic and hypocritical disregard for our rights as workers, we ask that all undergraduate and graduate workers wear their union shirt on Tuesdays, the day of the week that the National Labor Relations Board issued its historic Columbia Decision, recognizing the rights of TAs and RAs working at private colleges and universities to collectively bargain a contract.

If you don’t have a shirt, we will be giving out shirts in Nous cafe (Philosophy Hall) this Tuesday from 12 – 1:30pm. Come by, say hi, and grab a shirt! Let’s show Columbia that we will not stop resisting. We will not stop fighting for our and others’ rights as workers — workers without which this university cannot function.

We have a lot of exciting events and actions coming up and want everyone to be involved.
