On Wednesday, September 20th, I will be testifying about the consequences of the university’s ongoing refusal to respect the democratic process and bargain.

Watch my video below to hear why I’m testifying.

Please join me and our fellow graduate workers from Columbia, Yale, and other universities as we testify about the impact of our administrations’ refusal to bargain in front of elected and community leaders, including our Congressman Jerry Nadler and Congresswoman Grace Meng. Congresswoman Meng sits on the House Appropriations Committee and is a deciding member on federal science funding.

Facebook Event

This will be our first opportunity of the school year to send a strong message to President Bollinger that Columbia needs to respect our choice and start bargaining! We hope to see as many graduate workers as possible in attendance to demonstrate our collective power and our commitment to negotiating our first union contract.

Please RSVP here if you can attend.

I hope to see to everyone there.
